Jesus didn’t Quit

Rejection! Why are we so quick to quit as soon as we are faced with rejection. I’m guilty as well. As soon as I get shot down, or have negative feedback, I’m ready to throw in the towel so I don’t have to face anymore humiliation. It’s easier and less painful that way. Plus, when you get rejected so many times, it gives you the impression of “well maybe this is not for me”. I’ve read a couple self motivational books over the past few months that talk about facing rejection, learning from, not settling, etc. (Shout out to Rachel Hollis and Bobby Bones) It got me thinking of how many times was Jesus rejected? Heck, he was persecuted! He knew his fate, but he didn’t quit! What about God? To this day he is still being rejected. But did they or do they quit? Do they say, “oh well, I gave it my best shot, guess that’s that”. No! They still fight for our love, for attention, for our belief. No matter how much rejection he gets from us, he never stops loving us! So if you have a dream that’s burning inside of you, don’t throw in the towel because of rejection. Don’t give up because it’s not happening fast enough. Keep fighting and keep pushing forward. Whenever you feel like giving up remember, our lord never gave up on us! So don’t give up on yourself!
