Do Not Fear

She sat, gazing at the sky, watching the hawk as it soared up and down searching for its prey. She watched as a crowe flew to attack, only to realize he was no match for the magnificent creature. She pondered, am I like the crowe, or am I like the hawk.

“You’re the Hawk” was what she heard whispered in her ear. “I made you strong, but you must believe and trust me.” She nodded in agreement as she remembered the Lord’s promises of being her shield and to never fear.

Heights were never her favorite, but she knew he was her wings. She would fly amongst the stars as long as she believed. Danger would run in fear of trying to attack. She is the Hawk and he has her back.
